2009 open house auction

Hey,
it's that time of year again.. time to get lots of items! To avoid overlapping businesses maybe we should post here when we've been somewhere?

I spent a couple hours today and went to all the places in that Canadian tire area.. which was a bust. I also went across to all the stores by the Pet Cetera area...Mountain equipment co-op said yes, I have to follow up though. Swiss Chalet said I could come pick something up on friday. Nevada Bob's said they'll work on it, but its not likely because they've lost a lot of business this year because of the economy. I also checked with subway they said they didn't have any donation type things, but they would sell us party platter sandwiches for cheap if we wanted to sell them at our event.. but i dunno what we can really do with that.

There's a list on the website with some of the donors, though I'm not sure if it's complete as I haven't been at any of the board meetings to know what's been rolling in.
